  1. I like your website. It's very inviting and the illustrations are effective so I want to discover more about soil! Nice warm earth colors. You really worked hard on this and it shows.

  2. DESIGN: This is a great idea – the menu bar on the left as a top soil strata is really a clever idea. You have made everything work, rollovers, menu bar and the top image is really very playful. Dan you have so much potential and I just think you work very methodically and thoroughly. The colors are very organic and match the soil and as Roseannah says, it makes me want to explore the horizon lines. Now the size of the text and the general design needs work, the relationship of the boxes, perhaps some space between the different elements and a dropped shadow will help.
    TECHNICAL: CODE:
The page works very well and the interactivity is clear a efficient- looks like just one page. Also the text needs to be editable in the roll over boxes – you set the background image and then the text is placed on top of the box information. The reason We add the text to the actual page is able to be edited by the client. The body text should be declared in the wrapper - - needs to only go into the page once unless the average face is changed for some design reason. A great deal of companies do not have Photoshop or illustrator etc and need to change things every month . Remember that you must comment out on all your code - what are these closing div tags for /div
BLOG/RESEARCH/WIREFRAME: You have one wireframe – no options, and site architecture, no evidence of roughs and designs and no explanation of what you are ding and why? Please up date!!!
